Will it run? Short answer-Yes.

Not if you're running stock FI. It will run if you have carbs, but you may want to adjust the advance mechanism.

I recently bought a '74 with dellortos and an 009 dizzy. A stock dizzy from a fuel injected engine ran much better even without the vacuum hooked up! The 009 just wouldn't advance far enough. I have read recently that they are now making 009's with 28 degrees of advance. I think it was the the Made in USA Pertronix version. It comes with a flame thrower ignition module too.
