OK, my '74 1.8 has a jack. No jack-handle. No lug-wrench. Makes me think I'm missing a toolkit. Did the 4-cylinder cars have a toolkit, and if so, what was in it? Further, anybody got a lug-wrench they'd like to kick my way?

Lots of info about 914 parts here, the link here shows the toolkit in different years

I fjrst bought a tire iron for the lugs. Now I carry a torque wrench with the proper sized socket for the lugs.

I also carry most all the tools I need to work on my 914 just in case I need to work on something while on the road.

to me, the factory tool kit is woefully inadequate allowing the repair of only the simplest kind. i put a tool tray in the trunk and when i repair or work on something, put the tools used in the tray. 'course, the back of the car is way loaded down and the front of the car is way up in the air biggrin.gif
