She is doing alright in the Nursery, even though she is three months early
She is on a vent at room air,

Still know a lot of nurses and docs from Eastons run in the nursery thankfully

My first daughter was born at 28 weeks. It will be 26 years ago in 2 weeks. At 2.7Lb you daughter is big my daughter was not even 2Lb. She is very healthy but was a long 64 days. My hart is with you and you with and family.

Congratulations; my daughter who is now 3 was also a preemie and weighed in at a whopping 1 lb 11 ounces. She was the size of a 12" sub. Best of luck with the new addition.

Thank you so much for all the congrats and well wishes everyone!
Nadia is doing well - she's off the ventilator now and is handling it well.
She's initiating all her own breathing, but is getting some pressure help with the use of a C-pap machine.
Even though she's very tiny, she's absolutely gorgeous!
We're hoping that things continue to go well - but we need to anticipate a few bumps along the way.
I still haven't found a place in the hospital to hook up my own laptop in order to download pics for you - but I am determined to find that sometime today.
I'll post pics ASAP.

I'm so glad to hear the positive reports. Sounds like she has a strong will. Beware when she turns 14. Yikes!

some day soon i am going to find myself another 6....but for now i will just worry about the things at hand....and it does not look as worrisome as the last time we where here...in fact it is looking pretty good!! and no 2.7...it will be a three

All the docs and nurses are putting in 100 plus 20 percent so they make sure this baby comes home intact...
