I lost my return fitting nut on the way to FLAPS and now I am stuck. What size and pitch are those damn things? The thread looks to be an oddball super fine.
Has anybody tried the AN fittings from CB? I am really bummed as I can't put the tank back in until I get this resolved.
Thanks
Dino

Is that in the classics? Cuz it should be! I am just going to use the info to plug the return port. The elevated pick up is pretty sweet though.
Why not just run a second filter down stream before the pump that can be cleaned?

I guess you could do that and I am, I figure the screen will keep out the big chunks. I'm running a 40 micron filter before the FI pump and then a 10 micron filter before the throttle body. This will keep all but the smallest crap out of the injectors.

I brazed AN fittings on my factory fittings, but Pauls way looks the easiest..

ok, now you are just showing off!
My shadetree skill are a little lacking. I started the tap and it walked out of plumb
headbang.gif I stopped, remembered my juinor highschool metal shop teach yelling at me, cleaned it up with a rat tail file and recut the threads. I used a brass plug, and it is in fairly well and used pink teflon tape on the threads. I am not 100% cofident, but I put some gas in the tank and let it sit for a while with no sepage.

I might get the cb fittings by the time I am done...
