I need a manifold pressure sensor for a 1.7. The part number ends in "49" Ideally it has been tested to hold 15 to 20 pounds of pressure for 1 minute. I found one for $175 that is rebuilt. I'm just trying to save some $$.

Thanks!

If you stil need one, let me know. Just pulled one off my 73. I'll have to see if it will hold vaccum for one minute. Worked ok on the car.

I just got one off a 72' 1.7L. Will have to check to see if part # matches and the adjustment screw is still sealed by the factory wax seal. Also how do i test the MPS again?

I got my hands on a good one!

A vacuum pressure tester is used to test it. It's a handheld pump with a guage.

I have one with the seal intact.
