I just bought bumper tits from Garold and believe it or not, the bolt spread is too narrow.

What do I have?

Pelican lists those part numbers as 1974 right and left rear bumper guards..

From the August 2002 issue of Grassroots Motorsports:

"The neatest trick we found employs the rear bumper overriders from a 1974 car. These overriders look the same as, but are considerable smaller than, the front ones from either a 1973 or '74 car; so with just a slight filing of the holes on the front bumper of our car, we were able to mount the 1974 rear bumper overriders to the front of our car. This gives the 1973 car the look of the original bumper overriders, but they are much more subtle because they stick out an inch or two less."

Thanks guys... I will have to get that PET download. The one is nearly perfect but the other has a bit of swelling from internal rust... For now, I will use them both. I guess I will get out the die grinder and make a little noise!
