I owned this car for 14 years (bought it from 914rrr), then sold it late 2006 to Andy (Lightweight_911) in England. He kept the 2.5 Twin-Plug and sold it to Mark in Wales.

At least they are taking good care of it.

I am sure you would dig the straight through pipes!

Take off the covers and throw them in the trash...

Absolutely, the 2.5 Twin-Plug was a great motor for the car (I think Andy put it in a 911R clone), but know the car now has a 3.2. I love the Balsa hoods. drooley.gif

And when Mark finishs, it will look like this

Looks great, but why go to all that trouble to paint it purty and such, and not paint the trunk hinges? confused24.gif

I thought that too, but I have yet to get through to the new owner.

Me too, but it's somebody else's now and I like the evolution. Plus it no longers possesses the heart of the carr - a 2.5 litre Twin-Plug, built & dyno'd motor

Idea # 1, Can't you reposes it? May be it was all paid for except $1.00? Anything?

That is one of the nices 914 I have ever seen! Drooling!!!!! Dave slap.gif
carr914
Hmmm, International Repo, I do have relatives in Wales idea.gif

Another picture of the evolution. I have let the new owner know I exist and will give him a visual history of the car.

That is a beautiful 914.

At least it is faster now...

I recently ran into an old girlfriend who had been married twice since I sold her to a guy in England. She did not look as good. smile.gif
carr914
I'm not sure it is faster. My 2.5 Twin-Plug was potent. Hell, smg914 is still complaining about hearing loss after I passed him at full song.
