Got the car on the road for the season on Friday night biggrin.gif . Saturday morning cruise the clutch cable let go sad.gif .

I figured while changing the cable I'd drop the transaxle oil and repair the speedo drive oil leak.

I've seen a number of suggestions for oil.
What do you suggest I put in for normal street use, so I can get maximum life out of this trans. and good clean shifting?

With any luck I'll be back on the road tomorrow. driving.gif

Thanks in advance for your advise.

I see there's a previous post looking for the same info. Silly me.
Also looks like Swepco 201 is the stuff to use. Anyone disagree?

Disagree? I do. Save your money, avoid the "Swepco Cult" Any good quality straight GL-5 will do just fine. 80/90 or thereabouts. NO MOLY, NO GL-4!

The Cap'n, Swepco free since 1964!
