looking to rebuild my 1.7 1973 and am new at this. I have rebuilt other engines, but never one of these. What should I expect to pay for a set of pistons and cylinders? And who makes a good kit?? Thanks for any replies! Also, any tips to make this mission easier would be appreciated

As Jim Kelly posted - just go to Jake Raby and do it right. Save yourself alot of problems. Take it from one who knows.

agree.gif I would definitely have to agree with these two gents. I plan on going with Jake Raby when I do my rebuild. I have seen the engines and heard them and it is definitely the best place to go to get them done.

Thanks guys.. I'll be happy to assist him..
My "Stock" engine kit offering makes 20% more power than the factory 2 liter...

I have some other "kits" available that don't have the perks of the standard kit program, but still give all the components as one commodity.

The presentation that includes all the detals of my kit program can be found here.
