I am working on my 914-6 and have installed some great rebuilt brake calipers by Eric Shea. I am biased: THEY LOOK FRIGGIN' AWESOME! Thanks to Eric.

Here take a look, but in person they look way better! BRAKE PORN, huh?

I went to bleed the brakes and the reservoir leaks....D O U G H! hissyfit.gif

I will take advice on how to repair too: if someone has had success doing that?

I haven't removed it yet, but working on it today. Thanks and let me know what you have.

Another question, is it needed (overflow tube)? I know the overflow tube was not used on later cars; is this a mandatory SIX requirement? (sorry, new guy question, but I really don't know.)

Thanks,

Mark

Mark,
I have a master cylinder reservoir with lines. Send me your email address and I will attach a pic. to that. Also have brake pressure regulator - both taken from a 74.

Brother ! i talk with Bob last nite and he said you dont need the overflow tube. Its there because they took that reservoir from a 911 witch had the res in the front trunk and the tube was a just in case because of the carpet .So the one i have will work fine
