I just came across a set of 104mm P&C for a 2.0 in a trade. I have a set of 1.8 heads having the spark plug angle changed to the 2.0 angle. Also have an early 944 throttle body. What I want to do is build a big bore short stroke fuel injected engine. Does anyone know which 66mm crank, rods, cases, and cam are best to use.

104mm (more like 103mm) P&C's are junk unless they are Nickies.

I thought you couldn't swap 2.0l and 1.7/1.8 type pistons due to the wrist pin offset. Big problems

Didn’t even get that far...

The 1.7/1.8 has a different pin height than a 2.0

The 944 TB would only work if you were going to aftermarket FI.

You need a better engine combo.

Build a 1911cc motor then with 96mm pistons and a 66mm crank with 2.0heads and 2.0l FI except with Megasquirt. Set it up to rev to 7500 rpms and away you go.

Cant use Djet to rev that high, no way due to the ECU.
