1st I thought it would be good to ask this question in the "Originality and History" section, but as it turned out, hardly anybody noticed it there

Is it the bosses for the throttle assy. and the different pull for the clutch? Please educate me Wolfgang.

Gustl, see my reply in the other column.

Look for a symbol "M" on the transmission. That's the parts book "symbol" used to identify the LSD.

I know the meaning of the transmission numbers - how to decode them
4-cyl and 6-cyl are completely different
and I thought, if there's a special letter to identify a 4-cyl LSD, there might be something similar on a 6-cyl tranny confused24.gif

but I don't know the technical details from each of them sad.gif

I can't tell you if there is a 4-cyl or 6-cyl transmission if there's no tranny number on it ...
