I don't know or remember if this stuff has been discussed here before but I thought it might be interesting to those that wern't aware of it. I haven't tried it yet but I usually will try anything once.

I remember saying that when a woman asked me if I wanted to try something other than the regular stuff at 17 and since then I've never held back on new things to try.

We use Concrete Etch (Phosphoric Acid) - $10 a gallon from Lowes or Home Depot.

I thought concrete etch was Muriatic Acid. Anyhow, Phosphoric Acid, what ratio water to acid, and do you neutralize with water alone?

I use a SEM product called Rustmot. Great stuff and easy to use.

OSFO is what I've use in the past, it worked great.....

I've used metal ready and ospho in the past, those chemicals treat the rust, the stuff I refered to above removes the rust and if you keep it contained you can just keep running it over the surface till the rust is completely gone.
