I'm changing out my Webber 44's for Dellorto 40's what type of sealant is recommended if any on the gaskets?

If the mating surfaces are flat, none should be needed. I don't use anything but quality gaskets.

spray on "copper seal". no mess

Don, I actually had a leak with those manifolds that had to be machined to make it flat. They should be good but I like the spray on copper gasket idea... A little insurance.
