Jim, Amoy and i took the scenic route down Hwy 1 from San Francisco to San Luis Obispo. We stayed in SLO over night and were joined by Mark (GPR) for the rest of the drive to Irvine.



First pitstop was in Santa Cruz for Lunch:

We rolled into SLO and met up with Mark for dinner. The next morning, we stopped by GPR and got the grand tour.

The rest of the drive down to Irvine was rather uneventful, except for the fact that everyone wanted me to lead the pack yet i was the one with the directions that got us stuck in the early afternoon LA traffic. Oh well ...

We made it to the hotel in Irvine just in time for the first cold beer to arrive!

Sunday we had the scenic drive up to the Mt. Wilson observatory and from there we drove to Lancaster.

I didn't take any pictures at the track, too busy fixing my car and driving. So the rest of the pics is from the drive home to the Bay Area.
We took I5 all the way back, boring but much faster then the coastal route.
