Thanks, I had some brand new ones laying around that were for the 1.8 and my present 914 is a 2.0 so cool I can use them.

I don't know what the general 914World consensus is on this procedure, but check out this article if you have problems with them leaking. I've used this method on past vehicles with problem valve cover gaskets.
