Started installing a new stereo today and need continuous power for memory, asking for suggestions on where to get that.

Break out your test light, look for a fuse or terminal on the back of the fuse panel that's hot all the time. The Cap'n

While I am too lazy to go outside and get the exact fuse#, my stereo has a "splitter" on the connection at the back of the fuse panel for power. Works great, and have never blown that fuse because of my loud music beerchug.gif

Thanks to all who responded, I will check for a "hot" fuse. Any suggestions on routing the power wire for an amp from the battery.
