I have to pull my tank out to replace some lines and other stuff so now seems like the perfect time to put in a sway bar. I'd rather fab the plate than buy it (college student budget), and remember seeing a .dwg or picture with its dimensions. Does anyone have a copy of those or know the dimensions? The only one I'm really concerned about is the bolt spacing.

Thanks. smile.gif

Bird Board has a template for drilling the holes that is printable off their site.

Cool. That's easy. Thanks.

Anyone know the bolt size?

Edit:That should be on PET so its attainable, NM.

Whatever bolt you want. But please, stick with metric/original and use 8mm x 1.25 bolts. wink.gif

BTW the Factory didnt put anything inside to accomodate the anti-sway bar they spot welded a nut plat on the outside.

The factory also ran a skinny ass sway bar that didn't put much stress on the surrounding sheet metal.

If you think you might decided to upgrade your sway bar in the future, do yourself a favor and weld in a backing plate ...
