I'm cleaning up my impeller housing from a 1.7L. How have you finished your housing? Is there any reason I shouldn't leave it unpainted?

You should hear a cacophony of resounding no's shortly.. Reasons to keep it unfinished... balancing, additional weight, its hidden anyway.

I just glass beaded mine to clean it up and re-installed. Repainted TDC and timimg marks so I can actually see them which is now really nice.
