Because I'm still resolving a bizarre fuel pump problem, I want to get a couple of good working pumps as spares. What's the best way to store a used pump?? With gas in it? Dry? With some other liquid in it? Wrapped in a plastic bag? Spin it now and then? Whatever. Any thoughts?

Just a wild guess, but perhaps run a bit of gasoline with Stabil through it. I would wonder if rust would become an issue if left dry, and gasoline by itself can get pretty nasty looking when stored. I think that having it wrapped in a plastic bag would probably be the best way to try to preserve it. Also, running it on occasion should also help to keep it working.
Good Luck!
