Hello,

FINALLY got my D-Jet retrofit running (had a single weber!) and now I need to tune this crazy thing.

I'm wondering where the condensor attaches to on a 1.7 distributor. Where I have it seems to bind up with the engine tin when the dizzy is fully seated, thus limiting my adjustment of the dizzy for timing purposes. It's roughly in the 3 o'clock position if 12 o'clock was the front of the car.

Thanks!

I'd try to verify or set the timing first and see if the dist will be located in a position that has no interference. If the timing can't get set to spec, then I'd remove the dist and verify the position of the dist drive gear which would affect the position of the dist w/condensor.
