"Chris,
you know we always check out what it in the background of the pics posted here. In post #126 you have the orange car on a wheel dolly of some sort. Are the wheels bolted to the cars A-arm mounting holes and are not connected to the rear wheels?

Tell us more biggrin.gif "

Here's a pic of my car on the dolly I use when I want to work on a car up in the air with no suspension.
Its perfect for painting the body and wheel wells.
The height is sufficient for any work underneath and not too high for work inside the trunks or cockpit.
I can put it on my trailer for transport like this too.
The front assembly is a stock suspension crossmember that I welded outriggers on for the casters.
The rear bolts to the engine mounts so the suspension pickups are free.
I'll look for some other pics to show some details.

Here's my teammate's car just after paint.
In the first pic we have just gotten the dolly attached and we are about to take it off the rotisserie that was used for painting.
In the second pic the car is strapped onto the trailer for transport back to the shop.

Nice trailer! smile.gif

It's 914 specific. smile.gif
I left the race car with the sandblaster mounted on my trailer.
I returned after lunch to find the trailer covered in mud but the car nice and clean.
It rained the night before and he got stuck in a mud hole in his yard moving the trailer around behind his 4wd truck.

It still looks better than my trailer!
