OK, here are the pics. I told you it was rough, but still useful smile.gif All the lumpy stuff is weld. Ugly welds.
Dr Evil
After considering that you can get a new repro for $735 on ebay, and a NOS is about $1100 and up, I figure this tank to be worth half of a new repro, $350.

You can't see any of it's ugly when it's installed.
If I didn't already have a brand new aluminum one I'd buy yours.

smile.gif Just to clarify, I am selling this for a friend of mine. Dont feel like you are giving ME your money wink.gif Probably hurt sales right there....dry.gif

looks like a sporto tank
Dr Evil
What makes you say that? Looks like a stock tank to me confused24.gif

I believe one clear indication (along with many others) that it is NOT a "Sporto" tank is the placement of the oil filter stand.
Dr Evil
Thats what I thought.
Dr Evil
And it is sold! Thanks for playing smile.gif

Just for clarity.. this is not a sporto tank.

In the pict below, there are two dimples circled. In a sporto tank, those dimples are fitted with inset connectors to connect up the sporto oil lines.
