There's a tech article on Pelican's website about replacing the center tunnel fuel lines. Short version--use hard lines, stainless or aluminum brake lines. You can't really control where hoses go well enough and there are enough things in the tunnel that can cause problems that you really want to make sure the lines are in the right place.
