Ok,ok,I'm a newbie, don't matter,at least I still own my first original 914,20 yrs and still going.
My question is this, while I'm fooling around puttin' in some 21mm torsion bars in my '76,I've notice the brakes looks a lot different with two bleeders end.(called them right?)than the ones on my '72,which I just installed some 22mm bars. The '72 has only one bleeders valves.I like the later model for it dosn't matter which are Right side and Left side.Is this normal?Or do I have some Flap specials?

They changed in mid year 72. Dunno if the pads are different but the offset for mounting on the strut is different, so they don't interchange, early versus late.

The GOOD thing about early cars is that they will accept a 302i BMW caliper w/o machine work. Larger brake pad and they are CHEAP......
