Very stiff. I would go for just about any other than KYB. Koni, Bilsteins, or even the used Mulhollands that are currently in the classified for $10.

Get some real shocks and it will seriously upgrade your cars handling.

if they aren't bothering you, they will work... but believe me, if you want a nicer ride and handling, get something else. I put Bils on the back and koni's on the front and it made a big difference.

got both sets used, btw. so just keep an eye out for used sets.

My car has these and gold colored springs. Every bump makes me feel like I am losing teeth.

KYB is also referred to as Kill Your Back. No good for a 914.

You can replace them with a 4x4 piece of fence post and get a better ride.

LMFAO sounds good to me.. I'll definitely look into some better shocks because these aren't too much fun on crappy roads
