I would like to find the source for this type of fuel injector connector for a friend's EFI/CIS conversion an a 1979 911SC.

those are the l jetronic type leads afc 1.8 commonly available and so are the boots.

I was referring to the aluminum fitting that secures the injector to the manifold.
My friend would prefer to NOT use common fuel rails.

Gawd, that's got to be a royal pain in the ass.
You realize that those aluminum connectors stick out WAAAYYYYY over the engine tin so that you can't shove the engine into the car from underneath????
Yup, that looks like fun, shove the engine in and bolt in place without the injectors/connectors. Then you get to bend over and install the extra long injector/connector combo into place.
Your friend can simply attach four long pieces of the spendy german high pressure line to the ends of the injectors and route them to a handmade common "center rail" collector. Not as "pretty", but I prefer ease of installation over "pretty".
On second thought, a right angle barb connenctor might make installation easier.
