First off I've been having this rich running condition ever sense I bought the car so i finely got around to dropping $40 for a MightyVac. The vac showed the following measurements:

0in = 2.00H
15in = 1.26H
4in = 1.78

Using pbanders calibration method these numbers don't match up at all, so then i looked up the Bosch p/n and it says "0280100007" which doesn't match the p/n listed in his article. I don't believe this unit is supposed to be on the car and work with the ECU correctly. Am I correct? If so whats the best course of action to get a replacement unit? Thank you

porsche # 039 906 051 Bosch # 0 280 100 043 2.0L 1974 - 1976

The rebuilds are readily available. Just under $200.00 with a core.
Tony, about 1/3 of the way down on Brad's page, you'll find all the part numbers. That minivac is
so helpfull diagnosing problems on these cars. Money well spent.

Thanks Tod.
I have 0in and 4in adjusted so the readings fall in-line with the chart but the 15in is at 1.26H. Maybe this would work until i can replace it.
