They sell 1970-1972 and 1973-1976 versions of the window guide caps. I have broken 73-76 versions and see that they mount with a small screw to the rear of the door. I have a good set of 70-72 (still on the parts car) but they don't seem to mount the same way. Can anyone tell me if they will work for the 73-76 and how they mount before I spend all that time removing them?

Thanks,

no way they are longer and would require cutting both the aluminum squeege holder as well as the rear window guide and fuzzy channel. Not worth it. Sell the early ones on ebay and buy the late model ones that are cheap

I may have some later model guides, wanna trade if I do?
