Hi Guys

I rarely post here, (or anywhere, for that matter) but I read this forum everyday.

Anyway, saw my first Creamsicle(sp)?/LE today about just after lunchtime.

It was white with a red/orange lower section.

I was in my Vanagon, having just gotten on the 101 at Los Alamos

which is south of Santa Maria (home of Cap'n Crusty, hey John).

Funny thing is, at the very moment I saw the 914 on the freeway,

I was telling my passenger all about 914's.

Anyone here have that nice 914?

Also, is there someone in Solvang who has a 914?

Oh, btw, I live in Lompoc and have a silver 1973 2.0 914.

Well, have a great day all. smile.gif

There's been a nice one for sale in SLO in the 9K range for a while...I think it's on ebay now.

Hey Guys

Thanks for the welcome to 914 World.

Heading out today with a friend from Long Island,
going up Highway 1 to Big Sur to show him the sights.

Not taking the 914, but the Vanagon (at least it has a flat 4)

Take care

Hi Curt,

welcome.png

I'm just up the road in Nipomo. There's a number of 914World members in this area. My wife works at Vandenberg so if you see a orange-red-pearl Boxster S, that's her. Not a common color.

If you're heading up hwy 1 going sightseeing, the Monterey Historics featuring Porsche is going on at Laguna Seca this weekend...

Starting Thursday, I've seen many Porsche's going up 101 I assume for the Historics. Maybe the creamsicle was headed up too?

Greg
