1973 1.7 originally Aurbergine (purple) now Red needs repainted. Low rust, floors solid, battery holder still 80% and no fender rust. Body looks straight no dings (not sure about pre-paint)
all there except rear bumper dented too bad when backed into a tree which dented trunk lid and broke right tail light (metal needs cut out about 6-12" and replaced at inside edge of taillight).
Interior: dash cracked but not crumbly. needs carpet, reupholstered, good door panels probably replacements,
Motor: runs and starts good. some sound of exhaust lead not sure if on motor or in exhaust. rebuilt weber carb.
headlight motors work, transmission seems to shift well but clutch needs adjustment shifting down to low gear.

Title still in original owners name so needs a form filed to clean up per county tax office.
Asking $1500
A handy mechanic and a paint job this would be a super car.
Bought as project for my teenager but he doesn't get the appeal, he liked the Porsche name but wants more raw power. Not worth my time to fix up. Oh well.

Most of what I wrote came from a potential buyer who restores porsches and builds track cars. It was a bit more work than he hoped for but he may be back after he clears 2 or 3 out of his shop in a few weeks.
