So i live in Buckeye, AZ and it never really gets cold enough for me to use the heat. I recently removed my heat exchangers and saw that there was some rust damage to the heat exchanger part itself NOT the exhaust pipes. I am considering chopping those off and leaving just the exhaust. I will eventually buy new heat exchangers when i have the money. Any comments?

Make sure you never want heat. They're sold on eBay from time to time without the "cans" over them.

Plug the inlets to the body with some type of cap.
