^counting my Nitro RC...I'm up to 12.

although, it did make me realize that only one of my multi-cylinder engines is in a working car (I didn't count my XT6 as working, even though the engine is working. it was in an accident and is awaiting body parts to be streetable again).

But yea, 4 subaru 4-cyls, one in a car
2 subaru 6-cyls, one in car
2 toyota 4-cyls, one in truck

since I can't vote "0" for air cooled I choose all of them as air cooled (indirectly.) I guess in the end ALL car engines are air cooled one way or the other.

1 16V VW

I've got 12 not counting any R/C plane engines. Only 2 of the 12 are water cooled. I'm going to electric planes anyhow. They rock. No nasty castor oil all over. The neighbors like me much better now too.

Well I'm waiting on daytona so here's some of whats in the back yard and shop. I guess I'll number them and this is a first.

In the shop:
1. 79 corvette was running when I last moved it. Has a new front end thats needs to be put on.
2. 86 v6 se fiero drove it in the shop. needs a front a arm replaced and probably a new overall paint job. It has 60k on it.
3. 66 scout, took it apart to do a frame off paint job, it has 60k on it, it's a completely original 4 banger
4.fiberjet dunebuggy with a complete rear body changed to have a trunk lid and rear tailights from a fiero. It's supposed to get a 901 and a t4 but I may stick with just a cammed t1. I started to put a suby in it but the radiator doesn't seem to work out for my idea of a right look for a buggy, I may go with a flat t1 or the t4
1970 500 caddy motor and tranny, 96 lt1 vette motor, tranny ecu all the accessories, ex manifolds, cat converters everything but the maf it has 3 miles on it, the car fell off of a transport, I got it for the daytona spider project, a 02 wrx motor and tranny, with 5k miles on it, it's the newest of many subie motors I have, a 97 1 ton vortec 5.7 bored 30 with a better cam with total seal rings built and never used on a stand by the local race shop it came out of a 97 1 ton truck that is setting in the back yard, I may just put the caddy in it for a new tow truck, the 350 sbc out of my wifes 69 camaro I sold in the 90's,a 3.8 low mileage buick motor for one of my fieros, 70 model honda minitrail and my 96 sportster 1200, hemi design heads with roller rockers and cams, coated combustion chambers, piston tops, exhaust ports. Bigger carb, 500.00 pro one oil pump to scavenge the heads at high rpm better. Two into one Thunderheader. I spent 4k trying to make it outperform the hondas I used to have.

In a storage shed:
a 60's era 2 hp outboard two cycle I redid in about 1970
my dad's 5 hp evinrude from the 50's
an old antique washing machine gas motor
1 complete t3 motor
1 96 twin turbo suby motor and tranny
The chassis from the little 4cl scout.
2 t4's
4 1600 long blocks
10 sets of dual port heads
7 vw auto trannys
many vw cases
7 vw irs trannys
tons of vw parts, I bought this vw stuff from two friends that used to play with vw's, they don't even know each other
a never installed fg daytona ferrari body kit dash gauges and all
two 700r4's, a 4l80e, a saginaw 4spd, a koler power washer, craftsman 5hp chipper shreader, 8 weedeaters, one 40 year old push mower that I still use a little around the plants, a 11 hp 42 inch cut mont wards mower, it's a backup mower, a snapper yard cruiser zero turn, one stick control 48 inch cut. 92 polaris 350 two cycle water cooled 4wheeler like new low mileage, I use it at the ROT bike rally every year in Austin to haul the 64 qt cooler for me and the other old guys I go with

Under the front and back awnings on the shop:
5. a super scout II doesn't run, haven't tried to start it but it ran when I bought it
6. my 75 malaga red 914 thats waiting on the suby, had to move it out of the shop to work with my son on his sti
7. 79 jeep cherokee it runs, it's for a sellable hunting wagon.
8. 76 k5 blazer, it runs also to sell for a hunting wagon
9. my 80 scout II that my youngest son got tboned in in 99. It was new redone in 98 now the tub is bent bad in the driver side no worry plenty of parts, it saved his life, He would have been driving the 88 fiero but the clutch slave was out.
10. 57 fg porsche speedster, the only thing I don't have for it is a windshield and the frame.
11. 1952 vac case tractor, only thing it needs is maybe to repaint the rear fenders and rear wheels it has brand new tires and runs great it's just here to play with
12. 65 massey ferguson tractor runs great, I use it to move stuff around and do some dirt work
13. 79 k5 blazer I bought for the 400 sbc in it, it runs but I took the 12 bolt rear end out of it, it has about 70k on it but it is a northern truck and is really rusty, I gave the windshield to my friend.

In the yard:
14. 72 vette chassis for the daytona spider body
15. 80 scout to use to repair the tboned one no motor
16.75 345 v8 scout II pickup doesn't run it's another hunting wagon
17. 75 scout for parts with extra 345 motors
18. 77 scout II 345 v8 standard shift 4wd runs but needs cleaning up and maybe a paint job
19. a square back complete doesn't run, it's a auto fi car, a fastback t3 that doesn't run, it's a standard with fi, a 65 squareback that ran till it was parked, it has two carbs and is a manual, the t3's aren't mine but are for sale
20. a baha bug no motor
21. a 69 vw sedan parts car, a 70 vw parts car, a 86 fiero v6 parts car
22. a 72 international travelall 4wd wrecked 66k miles
23. 72 international pickup 345 v8 2wd loose front end runs 70k on it, gonna make two into one some day
24. two more fg dunebuggys and a tube rail dune buggy that runs with a little big bore 1200 in it
several different size trailers and two deerstands on wheels

The cars I drive:
1. 88 gt fiero with a 3.4 60* v6 5 spd, 30k on the motor 80k on the chassis
2. 86 gt v6 fiero automatic, ac 80 k miles it's porsche guards red but otherwise completely original
3.86 k5 blazer, 350 ramjet crate motor with arizona speed and marine upgrade to a closed loop o2 and retuned, built phoenix 700r4 2 inch lift, I used to use it to pull the car trailer
4. 91 3/4 ton 4wd silverado suburban completely rebuilt with od green paint job, it's my main driver
5. my wifes 09 toyota camry
6. 72 super beetle thats been pan off restored for my oldest son, it's artic white with blue pearl, with all new interior, it still has a motor out of another 72 sb my son totaled in 86 that we resealed and added a new svda distributor and oil pump with filter. It also still has the empi style wheels, repolished and painted, I put on the other one in 86 before he totaled it. He hasn't got settled in his new house yet so it's here waiting in my wifes spot under the car port at the back of the house with the 88 fiero, the 86 fiero is in the garage with the 86 blazer
7. 04 subaru sti, my youngest son's street driven sti we keep upgrading trying to get in the high 11's, it's really not a drag car. It's normally at his house except for it's upgrades

I probably missed something

Edit: I can't believe I forgot the third car I bought in college. My 58/64 vw sedan I made into a pickup in 68. it has a 67 1500 bus motor with a hyd isky cam and a rochester two barrel carb with a header and ac. I want to do a mid engine na suby with 914 style control arms on a rear redesigned pan. The tonneau cover will work great to cover the motor. The length of the motor tranny is a question. I think it will protrude into the torsion assy. area. The back of the cab is in front of the insp cover for the shifter ujoint. If it's too long a 3.8 buick fwd would be the next choice. I am not familiar with the fwd vw configs but that is also a idea. The ac condenser is in the spare tire well right now.
