Full Version: Nut On Pedal Board?

OK...I give up...on my pedal board, there's a plate riveted to the board that has a nut welded to the plate that sits directly under the gas pedal. There's no obvious explanation for the nut being there...nothing threads into it. Do I need to put up a photo or is this something normal that somebody can explain to me?

Are you missing the pedal stop???

There's a plastic stop that threads in there to make sure you don't stretch your accelerator cable.

I'm sure it's in the PET, you should really download the catalog ...

Yup, peddle stop. You need to have one or you will over stretch the throttle cable.

i need one of these too. What size is it? I would think this is an easy Home Depot fix?

Your nuts are on your pedal board? You need a Nut Bra!

Home Depot is about as likely to have a metric plastic bolt as is Kragens or Pep Boys.
But maybe your HD has a bigger selection than mine ................

While you're working in the pedal board area, might as well check that your clutch pedal stop is there too.
kenshapiro2002
Why would it have to be plastic? Lighter weight for Auto X ? lol-2.gif

Why would it have to be plastic?

Plastic doesn't rust ... rolleyes.gif

If the clutch stop is that metal bar thats bolted to the top end of the clutch opening...got it. I'm putting a new gas pedal in adjusting the cable, hex bar, etc.
Seems like these webers don't translate to very much pedal travel.

This little bolt should help adjust for max travel.

I'm sure any metric bolt will work; just what size?
kenshapiro2002
Then sell your 914 and buy a Europa!
