I am the 2nd owner. Purchased in 1995 from California. Approximately 105,000 miles.
Professionally maintained by a “Factory Certified Volkswagen” mechanic and a “Factory Certified BMW” mechanic.

Very good condition (8+). It's not a concourse show car, but it has been well maintained throughout my ownership. Car is completely “OEM stock”. No wide flares, no big bore engine or Weber conversion, no lowered suspension, and no racing parts. Parts listed below were added to improve safety and reliability.

• Porsche Silver. Re-painted in 2003 by Brit’s Autobody in Kailua. Disassembled bare metal restoration. Very minor surface rust in the front and rear trunks.
• OEM Fuchs wheels w/ Bridgestone Potenza 195-50-15 tires.
• Completely stock original 1.7L engine with stock fuel injection. It’s not a hacked up Weber conversion with lots of horsepower, but it starts up every time with absolutely "no oil leaks!"
• Complete electrical diagnostic test and repairing of shored wiring and cleaning of connectors in November 2004 by Fantastik Electrical Auto Repair in Honolulu.

Suspension:
• Weltmeister 19mm front sway bar.
• Weltmeister 17mm rear sway bar.
• Weltmeister 911 Turbo Tie Rod kit with bump steer kit.
• Bilstein shocks.
• Weltmeister short shift and reverse lockout kit.
• Weltmeister urethane bushings for suspension and clutch linkage.
• New (May 2006) brake rotors, bearings, rebuilt calipers, pads; stainless steel DOT approved brake lines, and 19mm master cylinder.

Miscellaneous:
• Bursch exhaust.
• Fuel pump relocation kit to front trunk.
• Weltmeister oil trap reservoir.
• Security ignition cut-off.
• Left foot dead pedal.
• New (Oct. 2006) Sears Die-Hard battery.
• Car cover.

New un-installed parts:
• Complete gas and vacuum hose kits from Pelican Parts.
• Right-side rearview door mirror.
• Rear trunk gas strut conversion kit from Pelican Parts.

Several people have asked about shipping charges from Hawaii. I am sorry for not researching this.
Shipping charges from Maui to either Long Beach or Oakland, California... or Seattle, Washington is $1072.00 via Matson.

Aloha... Darrell
