have a 914 owner in france looking to buy my 2.0 heads. he is looking for someone to do some work on them (larger valves. polishing etc) any ideas on who can do this for him in the u.s?

FAT Performance loves larger valved heads.
HAM will steer him right, but probably not the same direction that the Euro Guys are going right now.

Ham will steer him toward a valve arrangement that can actually be supported by the port thats being employed..

Huge valves that aren't supported effectively by the port are absolutey counter- productive.. They add huge amounts of valve weight that requires more spring tension to control which places more stress on the camshaft, lifters and etc.

We learned long ago that big valves that don't have ports to support them are the fastest way to create a misconfigured, power losing combination.

I make over 200HP with a 44mm intake valve on a 2.3 liter engine @ 9:1 CR on pump gas.
