up on deck- project #1
Dan Callicott (aka Xitspd) graciously donated the old rear flared qtr panel chunks off his old race car. (he now has super mongo FG wide flares and a 3.6)
these allowed him to run a 225 wide tire on an 8 inch rim.
groovy......

Project number 2- The wonder Box ™
thanks to 914 club member Jeff Bonanno, he donated to me a lot of stuff to rebuild a transmission.
so now i have a box of new trans parts, and a completely detailed sideshifter case.

Recently i scored a huge deal.
on the PP 911 classifieds, some dude needed a 4 spd 901 gone ASAP. a call to McMark and my newly acquired 911 ALUMINUM cases 901 is on its way down here. props to Mark and Brad


now here is where it gets sinister.
Can you say short geared AL case 901??

the acquisition of this new tranny made this whole deal possible. it has one or two gears i may use, or sell to fund this whole adventure

currently a 901/914 box has the following gearing
A F N V ZD
The 4spd box i picked up has
A HB S ZD

HB is a great gear for the v8 guys! my plan is to sell that to fund this deal.

the wonder box ™ will be a close ratio 1-2-3-4 box with a stock ZD 5th for driving/cruising.

Big Brake swap for the front....
well....i saw this done on 2 peoples 914's and figured i needed to do it too...... DWD and all.
Volvo 4 piston Calipers on 911 vented rotors.

working with a club member or 3 on this project.
