If it's not one thing it's three! I've been driving the 914 everywhere since my best friend had to borrow my nissan until his car is repaired. Clutch has been slowly going south on me for the last couple of weeks, but only the occasional grind going into first. Today it seems to have decided it's time to replace it. Grinds going into first, grinds when I'm parking and shift into reverse. Guess it's finally time to replace it. It's not like I have anything better to do. Oh, well, I'll have John order the clutch on monday & do it on tuesday. I needed to look at the rear brake pads anyway. When my best friend borrowed it for an afternoon, he couldn't find the e-brake handle. Drove all over town with th brake on. Now the rears grind. Might as well put pads on it, and hope the rotors are OK. I'll know more when I get in there, I guess.
