Move'n on up
The girls have moved from thier seperate Isolets to a combined open crib to be together. So far no reports of "binky" stealing or doing what thier mother is known for: taking all the blankets The crib is a stainless steel contraption that is coooold to the touch (burr) On Saturday, Sherryl and her mom Chris, dressed Taylor and Kennady up in these cute little butterfly outfits...oh my Attached thumbnail(s)
got some new pictures of the girls
both are doing great Taylor is now 4 pounds 2 ounces Kennady is now 3 pounds 14 ounces Still no firm date on when they will be headed home, it'll be at least 3 or more weeks.... Sherryl is a little concerned since they told us there could be a good chance of one girl coming home first with the other one staying at the hospital for a few more days or ??? We'd rather have both home at the same time, we just have to wait and see what happens. Attached thumbnail(s)
the girls are now 2 weeks old and doing fine, Kennady got an infection from they think an IV line, however she is doing better now that the medications have kicked in
thier weight is going up, 2 1/4 for Kennady and 2 5/8 for Taylor Sherryl and I have been visiting them everyday in the NICU and "kangaroo" holding them, basicly skin to skin...it supposed to be really theraputic for the girls, I know it helps mom and dad Attached thumbnail(s)
Jan. 1 2006 was a great day for Sherryl and I, we have been blessed with twin girls on this day. 9:11 pm for Taylor Michael Mueller (2 pounds, 6 ounces, 15 inches long) and at 9:12 pm Kennady Christine Mueller (2 pounds, 3 ounces, 15 inches long) both girls are doing fine, however they are 2 1/2 months too early so they will be staying in the hospital for at least 2 months sherryl is doing fine except that she has a cold so she has only been able to see her babies once, we expect her to get released on Wed or thur. , I on the other hand go visit them every few hours, it's hard not to bust out in tears holding thier little hands and hearing them cry...I have been at the hospital since Sunday and I just came home for a few hours...I will attempt to go to work later this week, but belive me, my hours there will be very limited.
