On Thanksgiving, Thomas and Ron (SLITS) did a transmission swap on my 914!

And I wasn't even there because I was with my mom at St. Bernadine Medical center because my mother had just gotten out of emergency colostomy surgery because her lower intestine had ruptured without warning.

So, my Thanksgiving thanks was that my mother made it through her surgery, and thanks was given to Thomas and Ron who went ahead and did the transmission sway on my 914 even though I wasn't there!!!

PLUS, they fixed my emergency brake!

PLUS, they installed a slider lever on the drivers seat! (mine was missing since I got the car).

OMG!! What a wonder bunch of guys! ( well, went they arent greasy )


So, I took them out to dinner. Of couse the only restaurant open on Thanksgiving was Carrow's. So I gave them a lousy restaurant turkey Thanksgiving dinner for all of that work.
