Sad day........last year when I went to Indy for the FFC I hooked up with a couple (Sassy & BBQ) that I had been talking to on line for a couple years. They had met online and got married a few years before.

We met on the Sunday while eveyone else was doing the twisty tour. I drove up to Indy and met them at the Indy track. Sassy's dad was Jim Bryan and he won the Indy 500 in 1958. We spent a very pleasent day together going thru the museum and looking at many of the cars her dad had driven while racing. It was like being with old friends that you don't get to see very often. We even stopped and looked at a 914 that was forsale near the airport.

I talked to Sassy about 2 weeks ago. She and BBQ had just got back from vacation in South Carolina and she was complaining she had a cold for the last week that she couldn't shake.

I just got word that she got sick over the weekend and was taken into hospital and passed away yesterday.

A very nice person who left us far too early.......
