Just for fun I thought Id post one of the other vehicals that consume my time: 95.5 Audi S6 Avant (C4 Body) the reason the .5 yr designation is important is that mid 95 Audi changed from a manual diff locking mechinism to EDL (Electronic Diff. Lock) This is what it started out looking like This is what Im shooting for s.bmp ( 312.56k ) Number of downloads: 53 Looking for a set of these wheels preferably in the 17x8 130mm bolt circle ET35 If I cant find a set Ill have to do what Porsche did and swap the front end components S2_RS2_lights.bmp ( 937.56k ) Number of downloads: 64 Notice the running lights in the bumpers? These are another direct part from a Porsche. Can you guess which one? Mods are fairly limited at this point with Chip Samco hoses Big red's upgrade and a Cmber plates yet to be installed. On the outside Ive applied a LLTek RS2 Chin spoiler
Ok, so its about time I started recording all the work Ive been doing to return the Creamsicle from the dead.
As of today, I have a tub that was once burnt to the ground then left stored in my garage for a deacade. Finally got off my ass and started working to put it back to OE. Not w/o a lot of head scratching, back & forth as to modify/customize it or CW it. Over the yrs I collected a LOT of parts and bought/sold more that 10 more 914's resulting in my 73 yellow daily driver (rough body excelent mechanicals) and a Silver 73 destined for the Mod'ed quasi track car. The LE had extensive damage due to heat and rust. First order was to cut out/off areas of damage then sent it out for plastic media blasting. AMAZING!! What a differance! Next off to a be put in a coat of epoxy sealer (White) while it waits for the extensive welding restoration. 11/05 welding is done. Now waiting for the weather in the PacNW to dry up so I can transport it to body and paint.
