Ok, so its about time I started recording all the work Ive been doing to return the Creamsicle from the dead.
As of today, I have a tub that was once burnt to the ground then left stored in my garage for a deacade. Finally got off my ass and started working to put it back to OE. Not w/o a lot of head scratching, back & forth as to modify/customize it or CW it. Over the yrs I collected a LOT of parts and bought/sold more that 10 more 914's resulting in my 73 yellow daily driver (rough body excelent mechanicals) and a Silver 73 destined for the Mod'ed quasi track car.
The LE had extensive damage due to heat and rust. First order was to cut out/off areas of damage then sent it out for plastic media blasting. AMAZING!! What a differance! Next off to a be put in a coat of epoxy sealer (White) while it waits for the extensive welding restoration. mueba.gif
11/05 welding is done. smilie_pokal.gif Now waiting for the weather in the PacNW to dry up so I can transport it to body and paint.
