First of all: wash the damned thing before this month's breakfast at IHOP

then...
Drill holes for 5pt mounting hardware
Install 5pt harnesses
New windshield & trim
Carpet kit
Adjust window height
Pull off and reglue rear view mirror
hook up heater & blower hoses
sound deadening material on firewall
fix trip meter
fix driver's side wiper
check pass front wheel bearings
need cover for shift linkage going into tranny
change oil & filter @ 500-800 miles
find solution to ripped off window crank knobs (gone thru 2 already)

Yay!!! Seller accepted our offer. Assuming we can close escrow, Brian and I will have a home by late September! I am so happy I could burst!

August has proven to be a month of changes. Brian and I are house hunting, and we just got engaged. I feel like I'm spreading myself so thin between the two. Plus we have no money . Call me practical, I'd rather spend $25K on a down payment for a house than on a wedding. I mean, I still want a wedding. I just don't want to pay for it.

And we just put a deposit down for a butt-ass ugly Prius. Brian's gonna sell his Subaru. But ideally, we just need to get rid of some cars. A full size chevy pickup, a toyota pickup, WRX wagon, 4Runner, 914, and an F4I is too much. We need a 4 car garage. And we can't even afford a 1 car garage. We need to not collect cars and get attached to them. I need a sugar daddy.

Fridays are usually really good. But today I'm just thinking how much it sucks I couldn't go down to LA to support Brad at his hearing. I am sure he knows we are all thinking of him. I'll be so happy when this whole mess blows over and hopefully we can laugh about it.
