Adventures in Autocross:

I have had so much fun running the car in PCA autocross events, I joined SCCA and registered for my first SoloII event. I have been told that my car will run in DSP, D is small engine size, S is stock, P is prepared. I definately have a stock motor, 2.0L with the factory D-Jet fuel injection. But the suspension has been tweaked a great deal. The car has been converted to five lug suspension, front brakes have vented rotors, Bilsteins all around and 180 pound springs on the rear. Interestingly, no rear sway bar, but a 23mm bar on the front. The car is set up right. Back in 1991, Dick Petticrew who owned the car drove it to second pleace in class that the Porsche Parade. Lets hope I learn to drive her up to her potential.
