Pulling the engine:

Metal work and such. Lots of rust erradification and custom metal work. Seeings that my time is more plentiful than my wallet everything is handmade and all imperfections will be fixed with a little bondo.

Linking for some garage photos. Its finished now if anyone is paying attention. 24x36, 3 bays, 2 1/2 stories (techinically), and 10ft ceilings in all 3 floors.

Okay, I just did one for the first car. Now for car #2. I picked it up as a parts car, but its way too nice. I'm now planning on restoring the cars side-by-side because I now have a garage to do it all in. Its a 1.7, but I would like to get a 2.0 for it and do a swap. I'd also like t make some mild suspension mods and repaint it the original green (I love that color).

First try at this. I haven't had a chance to work on my car much in the past few months. I've just taken more apart and started cutting out the major rust. Now I'm starting to cut patch panels to repair the rust in it. Most repair is aroung the firewall, so that will need to wait a few months until I have a chance to pull the engine.

The interior is mint. Not a tear or even separated seam in the seats, backpad, or center console. The dash is uncracked and pristine as well. The only bad part is that the PO cut holes in the door panels, so I'm going to recover them. I'm thinking of pulling the basket weave off the dash and putting a carbon fiber insert in it.

Engine and Suspension Mods Planned:

96mm P&C's for a displacement of 1911cc's
SSI Heat Exchangers (I got the deal of the century on them)
Koni's on all 4 corners (already have the fronts)
140lbs springs
Front sway bar (atleast 19mm)
Modified intakes (fix a stupid PO's work)
205 series tires (and Fuchs if I can get the $$ together)
