I thought I had an agreement with my dad <_< ...
after we had fixed the orange 914 my beetle would have first rights to be on the car lift.
But o boy how fast can things change!
We have moved the project 914 into the spot that was destined for my bug!
But no fear we are stripping it down and will be mounting it on a rotisserie.

The stripping is almost done, just some really small odds and ends on the inside and the suspension from underneath.
There are a couple of shitty PO repairs on the longs both inside and out but overall this tub looks pretty good for a purely european tub that has never (properly) been restored.

In my quest for new parts for the project car I came across a set of NOS transmission mounts, I've got them at a very good price The parts stash is really building up, it will be pretty cool to start putting the project back together but oh boy that will be a long way from now
