Concerning the kinder gentler AA, I got my "restored" 914 back 10 months after a 4 month restoration. The bill was way too high for the work done and some of the work was substandard. The wipers quit on the way home and luckyly I did not have a flat because the 4 hole spare they gave me would not fit my new 5 lug wheels. My rear trunk pad was missing as well as my heater blower moter. One of my side marker lens was cracked as some moron put it on backwards and tightened the screw. The new paint job was nice but they should have painted the front luggage compartment since the trunk was painted inside. There were other problems that my local merchanics had to fix also. Will I talk to AA one on one. Hell no as I'm afraid it could esculate to the point where "going AA" would replace going postal. I was a fool so take a fool's advice: do not call AA, stay away from Marietta, GA. and hit delete if it pops on your screen. It's your 914.
