it looks like we're finally down to the finishing touches. she's ready to go in for bodywork and paint.

i'm keeping it stock paint: nepal orange. also painting the rollbar/sail panels, valences and rocker covers body color as well.

the engine bay was very original indeed. this pic was taken after i had replaced most of the vacuum hoses.


and in case anyone cares, the best way to prop the engine lid up is with a paint stick. get 'em free at home depot!

more fun stuff! the oem later style bumpers have been removed. those suckers are seriously heavy, like 100# total for f & r! the car has now been backdated to earlier bumpers w/out knobs tits.
