Here are a couple of pictures of cars that are similar to what I'm doing on the turbo race car.

The first two pics are of the diffuser tunnels from a 956/962s. The first is what came stock from Porsche. The front edge is at the bottom of the pic. The second is a devlopment part used by Dyson, I think. In this pic the front is at the top. The second is very similar to what will be under the 914. The forward edge will start just a wee bit ahead of the rear bulkhead.

The next couple of pics show how the exhaust will be set up. These are also a 962s, early, single turbo versions. In the 914, the distance between the engine and the axle line is quite a bit shorter than this, but everything will fit in very similar manner.
